Yesterday August 6th, 2009 the iCAMP went on a field trip to the East-West University. There we met a man named Mike who talked to us about college and that his school offered financial aid and things of that matter. Afterwards we watched a video about college and left to go to our next location.
Next, we went to the Northwest Towers and was introduced to some of the things that the West side crew were working on. While there, we were also introduced to 2 new artists named Torrio Jetson and Chi City Ghost.
Most of the audience really liked Chi City Ghost because of the way he rapped, he could sing, and most of the girls thought he was really cute. Most of the audience weren't really interested in 
Torrie because he rapped about some of things that kids don't really listen to.
After their performance, some of the kids from the West side named Brandon and Kendall performed their own song named Snappin' All Night which is a really hot song that you can dance to. After their showcase was over we ate pizza,chips, and drank pop. We watched some of the kids rap and actually Marcus and John battled each other in rapping and John won. After their performance the South Side exchanged numbers with the West Side and said goodbye. This field trip was a really nice way to end the program. Stay tuned in next year for new write ups.
